Bespoke memorial jewellery for two pets

Recently Jill asked me if I could make her both a custom designed set of earrings and necklace pendant, incorporating the fur and ashes of her two dogs Bessie and Ebony that had sadly passed away.

Jill wanted a single drop pendant to contain the fur of her two dogs, contained inside separate chambers, and similarly she wanted the ashes from her two dogs contained inside separate chambers within drop earrings.

This is the design I made for her for the memorial pendant:

The sterling silver and resin drop pendant was designed to have two entwinned hearts, each containing the fur from her two dogs. A string of cubic zirconia stones gave the pendant a sparkle and the pendant finished with a small heart pendant bail at the top.

The sterling silver and resin drop earrings were designed to have two circular linked settings, each containing the ashes from her two dogs. A third circular setting containing cubic zirconia stones at the top to give the earrings a sparkle to match the pendant. Finished with earring studs at the back.

And here is the completed memorial jewellery. Firstly, the drop pendant containing the two samples of pet fur.

After receiving her jewellery, Jill very kindly left me this message: “How beautiful are my designed earrings and necklace that Mick created for me which incorporated two of My dogs’ fur and ashes. 

Bessie who passed away 8 weeks ago aged 13 ½, a Golden Retriever. 

And Ebony who we lost 2 Years ago a Black Flat Coat Retriever.”
